At Volatile AI, we are firmly committed to the privacy of our contacts and customers and the data that is stored on our cloud platform.

Any information collected is done so under the legal basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring effective relations management with potential customers, partners and interested parties.

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:

  • Information about your computer and about your use of our website, our hardware instrumentation or software. This may include your IP address, your location, your browser type and version, your operating system, your referral source, your length of visit, your page views, and website navigation.

  • We may also ask for your contact information, including information such as your name, your company name, your address, your email address, and your telephone number. We will never ask you to share any sensitive information.

  • Information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our website services, email notifications, and/or newsletters.

  • Volatile AI collects hardware usage statistics including device power ups, sampling intensity and software usage patterns for the purpose of continuous hardware and software offering improvement.

  • Data related to device longevity can be collected such as maxing out of the sensors and pump activations in order to continuously improve the device longevity. At no point do we collect any sample or chemical composition data from our hardware devices.

HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED?

We use the information we collect from you in various ways, such as:

  • to communicate with you to provide you with updates and other information relating to our services;

  • to communicate with you for marketing and promotional purposes, when we have your previous consent;

  • to keep our website, hardware and software secure and prevent fraud;

  • to monitor the usefulness of our instruments and to ensure our future products are continuously improved;

  • to send you email notifications that you have specifically requested;

  • and for compliance purposes as it may be required by applicable laws and regulations, or requested by any judicial process or governmental agencies.

We will not, without your express consent, share your personal information with any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing or any other reason other than if required by law.

Any data collected is stored for 3 years after the last contact / data submission to the company.
